Indian Creek Reservoir is just 13 minutes away from the city of Woodworth and is located in Rapides Parish. The lake is conveniently located between I-49 and US Hwy 165 and is easily accessible for frequent travelers.

The lake itself is 2,250 acres in size and is a part of the Indian Creek Recreation Area, which encompasses 100 acres of developed recreational facilities and 250 acres of the primitive camping area.

The Indian Creek Recreation Area is a lovely place for those looking to find themselves in the great outdoors. The recreation area contains many amenities, including 100 campsites, three beach areas, five bathrooms, laundry facilities, playground equipment, handicap parking, a boat launch, Wi-Fi, and a covered pavilion for rental.

In addition to the many amenities, this area is home to many local wildlife species, including the red-cockaded woodpecker. So, it might be a dream come true for bird-lovers.

The lake has many activities to enjoy, but one of the most popular is fishing and boating. Indian Creek Reservoir is popular among anglers and features many fish including largemouth and smallmouth bass, black crappie, white crappie, and channel catfish.
